IVAN NUCHU-LEVITSKY ANDV OLODYMYR LEONTOVYCH: AN ATTEMPT TO ACOMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LIFE AND CREATIVITY

Summary

In the article on the example of the autobiography of Ivan Nechuy-Levitsky, the memoirs, letters of Vladimir Leontovich, the works an attempt is made to make a comparative analysis of the life and creative path. It is proved that, although the writers were not peers, they still formed themselves as Ukrainians in the conditions of colonial dependence of the country, they managed to save themselves from the irrigation thanks to their native language, national folklore. The commonality of the realistic style of writing writers has differences: it is romanticized by Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky, marked by Vladimir Leontovich’s poetics of naturalism, partly of modernism.
