THE ARTISTIC EMBODIMENT OF THE IMAGE OF THE FATHER IN THE STORY “THE KAYDASHEV’S FAMILY” BY I.NECHUY-LEVITSKY AND THE NOVEL “ZHMENYAK” BY M.TOMCHANII

Summary

The article attempts to compare the peculiarities of artistic embodiment of the image of the father in the story “The Kaydashev Family” by I. Nechuy-Levitsky and the novel “Zhmenyak” by M. Tomchanii. Common vectors of depicting the defined image are analyzed: the inseparable connection between man and nature; the power of the land over the peasant; the spiritual and religious world of the individual; complex relationships between parents and children; personal authorial penetration into the lives of heroes of his works, etc. Specific differences in the image of the image of the head of the family were revealed.
